Monday #7-Food safety 4


This graph reveals a few very important things. For one thing, despite falling since 1993 risky food consumption has actually gone up since 1998, despite more publicized illnesses related to food. Raw fish consumption has actually gone up since 1993 Surprisingly, in 1993 over half of the population had eaten raw eggs, and while lower in 2001, made up more than 40% of the nation. This graph also has faults, though. It's out of date by 10 years, so the numbers could have changed a lot since then. It also doesn't focus on the food that often is publicized to have dangerous diseases in them. They are ironically not the most dangerous foods, but other foods, even some considered healthy,
